Lambretta 48 Automatic
It a last effort to improve on the Innocenti Autocycle range in 1971, a collaboration was formed between Innocenti and engineer Miccuci, famed desginer of the Guzzino (Guzzi 65).
It was constructed with a twin tubular frame giving the machine strength and durability. The rear swing arm was supported by the engine mounting plates, and the gas tank was fitted with a clear tube type level indicator.
A simple design, and not too shabby either had a 49cc engine, Primary transmission by means of a belt, secondary tramsmission by means of a reduction gear and dry clutch and the final transmission by means of a chain, all nicely kept hidden with white plastic protection cowlings. Lighting on the prototype shown are of Aprillia type. This prototype was finalised in the spring of 1971.
